Unable to enter a manual activity

If you are unable to manually add an activity to the Plan section, several factors may be responsible. From incorrect placement in the app to synchronization conflicts or a technical issue.


1. You may be adding the activity in the wrong section

Make sure you are adding the activity directly in Plan:

  • Open the Elonga app

  • Go to Plan

  • Tap + to add an activity

Activities cannot be added in the Measurement or Results sections.


2. The issue may be caused by synchronization

If you have synchronization enabled with Apple Health or Google Fit:

  • The Plan may be filled with automatically imported activities

  • Manual entries may appear as if they “didn’t work” because they are overwritten, merged, or not displayed properly

Recommendation:

  • temporarily disable synchronization

  • restart the app

  • try entering the activity again


3. Most common technical causes

If activity input doesn’t work, it may be due to:

  • unstable internet connection- the activity may fail to submit

  • background app restrictions- the phone may limit Elonga while the activity is being saved

  • device- or OS-specific issues- contact our support team

  • unsaved or corrupted data in the History section- incomplete entries may block certain app functions


4. Step-by-step recommended troubleshooting

Quick troubleshooting checklist

  • Close the Elonga app completely and reopen it

  • Check that your internet connection is stable

  • (Optional) Turn off Apple Health / Google Fit synchronization

  • Try entering the activity again

  • Open History and check for unsaved or problematic entries

  • If the issue persists, reinstall the app and clear data (cache + storage)

  • Test on another device if possible
