This notification may appear when your physical activity is higher than what your personalized movement plan recommends. It does not mean you are doing anything wrong. The notification is informational and helps keep your load at a level that supports long-term health and recovery.
1. What does this notification mean?
Elonga compares your current daily activity with your weekly movement plan.
If you exceed the recommended amounts of:
steps (light intensity)
energy expenditure (medium & high intensity)
the app will notify you that you are above the optimal recommendation for the day.
This is normal. The goal is awareness, not limitation. Your plan is based on HRV, long-term trends, and your questionnaire inputs.
2. Why does Elonga warn you even about “too much” activity?
Elonga doesn’t track only activity quantity, it evaluates your overall physiological capacity:
whether you are recovering
whether you are under stress
whether your body can handle long-term load
Excessive activity may:
increase sympathetic activation (stress)
slow recovery
raise the risk of overload
negatively affect long-term trends
The alert prevents overload, it is not a critique of performance.
3. Recommendations become more accurate over time
The movement plan is adaptive. It adjusts:
to your long-term and current physiological state
to your actual plan fulfillment
If you consistently exceed activity and tolerate it well, the plan may later increase.
4. What if you receive this notification often?
It is not an error.
You may:
continue your routine if you feel well
review whether the plan still fits your real capacity
reset the plan if the questionnaire was inaccurate
5. When should you pay attention?
If the notification appears together with:
decreased recovery
increased stress
lower Readiness
this may indicate overload.
In that case, include active or passive recovery and monitor the next days.
Summary
The notification appears when:
you exceed your recommended daily load
your activity may be higher than optimal
the system aims to protect your health and prevent overload
Your plan is dynamic- it adapts as your condition and long-term results evolve.
