In the Elonga app, you can let your activities synchronize automatically from Apple Health or Google Fit. However, some users prefer not to use this function and instead enter their activities manually into the Plan. Synchronization is not mandatory. You can fully use the Plan without it and have complete control over which activities you log in the Elonga app.
1. Synchronization is not required- you can enter activities manually
If you do not want activities to be imported automatically, you can:
turn off synchronization at any time,
rely entirely on manual entry,
record only the activities you want to track.
This gives you an accurate overview of what contributes to your daily load.
Synchronization does not affect HRV measurement results. It only serves as a supportive feature for activity tracking.
2. How manual activity entry works
In the Plan, you can:
add an activity by tapping “+”,
choose the category and intensity (light / medium / high),
enter the duration,
edit or delete the activity later if needed.
The Plan will then reflect your actual routine regardless of synchronization.
3. Why manual entry may be advantageous
Some users prefer manual entry because:
they do specific training that smartwatches do not recognize,
they want full control over what counts toward load,
they do not use a smartwatch or do not want to share data between apps,
they want to avoid automatic logging of daily walking or common activities.
Elonga supports full use of the Plan even without synchronization. It is entirely up to you which method suits you best.
4. Want to enable synchronization later? No problem.
You can always:
turn synchronization back on,
switch between manual and automatic mode,
combine both methods (e.g., manually adjust only selected activities).
Summary
Synchronization is optional and can be disabled anytime. You can fully use the Plan without connecting to other apps. Manual entry gives you complete control over activity tracking. HRV measurement results are not affected by synchronization in any way.
