Habits are one of the key features of Elonga. They help you understand how your everyday behavior affects stress, recovery, and overall vitality. By tracking them consistently, you gain clarity about what you truly do for your health and which actions have the biggest impact.
What Habits Are in Elonga
The app includes a library of scientifically validated habits grouped into:
sleep
stress
relationships
nutrition
You can also create your own habits, such as:
activities you want to improve (movement, screen-free time before bed, meditation),
behaviors you want to reduce (sugar, alcohol, late-night work).
The goal is to track how these habits influence your HRV, stress, and recovery.
How Habits Work
Each day, you simply mark the habits you completed.
Elonga then generates clear statistics:
weekly
monthly
long-term (annual)
You can also mark library habits as favorites. These appear immediately after your morning measurement for quick, frictionless logging.
Why Track Habits
Tracking habits helps you:
understand how consistent you really are,
see how your behavior affects your body's physiological responses,
identify what benefits you long-term and what does not.
Evidence-based insight: Lally et al. (2010) found that forming a habit takes an average of 66 days (range 18–254 days).
Summary
Habits in Elonga are a simple but powerful tool that allows you to:
see how your daily lifestyle influences recovery, stress, and long-term health,
build sustainable changes,
gradually discover which behaviors benefit your body the most.
