Sometimes the app may display a battery level that doesn’t match what you expect.
For example, you may have charged the sensor, but the app still shows a low percentage, or the value updates only after a delay. This behavior is common and usually does not indicate a hardware fault.
1. The battery level may not update immediately
The app may update some values with a delay, including the battery level.
This can happen when:
the Bluetooth connection is unstable,
the app is running in the background,
the phone temporarily limits app communication.
Once the connection stabilizes, the battery percentage usually corrects itself.
2. Bluetooth interference is the most common cause
During connection, there may be:
brief signal interference,
temporary loss of communication,
incomplete data transfer.
In such cases, the app may show an outdated or partial battery value.
Reconnecting the sensor usually fixes the reading.
3. App-side issues may also affect battery display
Temporary software issues can cause visual or functional inaccuracies. These can typically be resolved by:
restarting the Elonga app,
checking the History section (unsaved records may disrupt functions),
reinstalling the app with cleared cache + data,
testing the sensor on another device.
4. Recommended troubleshooting steps
Disconnect and reconnect the sensor (Bluetooth reinitializes).
Restart the Elonga app.
Check Bluetooth stability.
Review the History section for unsaved or erroneous entries.
Reinstall the app (clear cache + data).
Test on another device if needed.
In most cases, the correct battery value appears after these steps.
5. When to contact support
If:
the battery value is consistently incorrect,
the sensor drains unusually fast,
the app does not show battery percentage at all,
We will need:
your device model,
operating system version,
app version,
a description of charging & connection behavior.
Summary
An inaccurate battery reading is usually caused by:
delayed data updates,
Bluetooth interference or dropouts,
temporary app issues,
unsaved History data.
The fix is simple: restart, reconnect, check the app, or reinstall.
