What Elonga measures and how it works

Elonga monitors the activity of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), which maintains optimal internal conditions in the body without conscious control. The ANS responds to both external and internal stimuli and helps the body adapt to current conditions.

Components of the ANS

  • Sympathetic nervous system- activates the body, preparing it for performance and stress.

  • Parasympathetic nervous system- supports recovery and the return to a relaxed state.

The balance between these two branches is essential for long-term health, stress resilience, and the aging process.

This balance can be influenced through:

  • properly managed physical activity (especially aerobic exercise)

  • sleep quality

  • stress and emotional regulation (e.g., mindfulness)

  • nutrition and overall lifestyle

How Elonga Measures

  • ANS activity is monitored using spectral analysis of heart rate variability (SA HRV), a precise and unique method.

  • Measurements are performed in the morning or after the main sleep of the day, in calm resting conditions, while lying down.

  • The measurement takes approximately 3 minutes.

  • Results are available immediately in the app.

How Movement Recommendations Are Created

Elonga combines:

  • results from your morning measurements

  • data from the questionnaire

  • long-term state of your organism

  • fulfillment of your movement plan

Based on this information, Elonga recommends the most suitable activity intensity for the day.

You choose the specific activity yourself according to your preferences and possibilities.
